Cabin July Session: Fishing with Jim

A second July trip, a different crew, same lake. Fishing with Jim is always a good reminder that details matter.

We spent most of the day scouting structure and waiting for the low-light bite. Once the water calmed down, the fish finally turned on.

Some trips are about numbers. This one was about timing and process. We made a few adjustments, worked slower, and started getting cleaner hookups.

By the time the sun dropped, we had enough fish stories to carry us to the next trip.
