Powder Mountain, Utah: Bus Laps and Long Lines
Powder Mountain rides different than most resorts. It feels spread out on purpose, like the mountain is asking you to slow down and explore.
Our rhythm for the day was simple: bus, lift, traverse, repeat. It sounds inefficient on paper, but on snow it works. Every extra transfer bought us room to ride and time away from the busiest zones.
The snow stayed soft in sheltered pockets and we found enough fresh lines to keep energy high all day. Not every run was perfect, but the terrain kept changing and that made each lap feel new.
One year later, I still think about how much fun that mountain is when you stop trying to optimize every minute and just ride what is in front of you.
