Mountain E-Bike Summer: Building Base Miles

Last summer I treated mountain e-bike days like training blocks, not just recreation.

The plan was simple: ride three to four times a week, keep effort steady on climbs, and finish each session with enough energy to go again the next day. It was less about speed and more about repeatability.

The biggest benefit showed up later in the year. My legs and lungs were better heading into fall, and that usually means a stronger start when snow season arrives.

E-bike training still demands work. The assist helps you stay in the zone longer, but it does not pedal for you.
